Color
Whether you are looking to cover gray, change the overall shade of your hair or add a spice of color, Goldwell is our color line of choice. For our more sensitive clients, we have ammonia free color available as well. For our gentlemen, we offer all the same color services with an added option of express gray blending or coverage.
Color Services Include:
- Highlights and Partial Highlights: traditional foil method used to lighten the hair or color for low lights. We utilize a variety of traditional and trendy techniques to lighten based on the condition and desired outcome of the hair. Traditional foils, the natural look of a balayage to a combination of “foliage” allows the stylist to fit a client ‘s desired level of maintenance while maintaining the integrity of the hair. A combination of these techniques are used for face framing and money pieces.
- Teasylights: hair is teased before applying color and allows a natural color blend
- Dimensional: adding lighter or darker shade to natural color allowing high low lights
- Foliage: painted” but pieces are placed in foil, soft sun-kissed but foils can give more contrast
- Baby-lights: a soft transition with major impact using thin sections
- Balayage: “painted” sun-kissed natural placement without use of foils and low maintenance
- Face framing and Money pieces: various techniques to create a lightened effect around the face
- Ombré, Sombre or “Color Melt”: involves a high lift to show contrast between a base shade and highlight. It creates a shadow effect on the scalp and uses a specific placement for highlighting. Various colors can be used as well as traditional. Sombre is the softer transition.
- Gray Blending: various techniques to blend a natural or fashion gray. Root Color, Gray coverage, Base Breaks, Dallas Blonde, Bronde, Lived in color, Fashion Vivids, Pastel Colors, Color Transformation, and Color Corrections
Treatments
Our treatments include masks, serums, bond pro, revitalizing, detoxifying scalp, strengthening, sensitive scalp, color protection, and smoothing anti frizz among others.
Our various masks are used to deep condition, protect the color, repair damaged ends or smooth frizzy hair. Serums can be used to enhance volume, protect color and condition damaged ends. Bond pro or Olaplex is a must to strengthen and protect the hair while lightening. Oribe Renewal and advanced treatments that address sensitivity or redness, detoxifying and revitalizing the scalp or enhancing color are well worth the extra time they take.
One of the most popular smoothing treatments with the Texas weather is Pura Luxe (non-toxic amino based) which makes the hair strong, shiny, healthy and reduces frizz. It is for all natural hair types and can be done to color processed or lightened hair. If you normally color or lighten we do advise to do this smoothing service separate a week or few days before your next color service.
